We are excited to announce that Jason Woods, Middle East & India Representative, International Powered Access Federation is joining the World HSE Week 2019 as a Speaker on The Future: IPAF Extended Reality Strategy – How VR, AR, SIM & Headsets can make MEWPs safer.
Jason is IPAF’s Middle East & India Representative and Auditor, based in Dubai. He has 29 years’ experience within the access industry gained with equipment manufacturers, rental companies and training bodies.
The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide in the widest sense — through providing technical advice and information, through influencing and interpreting legislation and standards, through its safety initiatives and training programmes. It is a not-for-profit organisation owned by its members who include manufacturers, rental companies, contractors and users.

The main purpose of IPAF is to promote the ‘’Safe & Effective’’ use of MEWPs worldwide!
IPAF’s membership body currently stands at 1,300 members in 67 countries and we see the Middle East continuing to grow with demand, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan – Kuwait – Lebanon – Oman – Qatar – Saudi Arabia – UAE.
India, IPAF training centre(s), currently we have Noida, Gujarat and Mumbai where another rental company will open in Delhi and south India later this year giving a total of 7 training outlets throughout India. Two of our Rental members are in between achieving the IPAF rental+ standard.
