Verve Management is excited to announce that Dr. Mona Shawki, Specialist Physician of Occupational Medicine, MOHAP will be joining the 2nd Edition World HSE Week as a speaker on Designing effective OSH policies: Reducing risk of accidents and incidents.
Dr. Mona Shawki Ali Moustafa works as the Specialist of Occupational Medicine, Preventive Medicine Department in Sharjah, MOH, UAE. Prior to this she was working as an Associate Professor for Community Medicine Department at the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, Egypt. She also served as an executive manager of the Occupational Health Unit of Alexandria University, Egypt and was a Consultant of Occupational Medicine in Occupational Health Department, Health Insurance Organization, Alexandria, Egypt, from 2011 to 2013 along with being a reviewer for the Alexandria Journal of Medicine.
She did her MBBCH from Alexandria University in 1997 with a general grade of Excellent with Honor and a general position of 13th. After that she pursed her Master’s degree in Industrial Medicine and Occupational Health from the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University in 2003 with a general grade of Excellent. In 2007 she pursued PHD in Industrial Medicine and Occupational Health from the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University. She has 15 Research papers Published in the Field of Occupational Health.
