Ben Legg, Corporate VP HSE of AECOM to speak at the World HSE Week 2019

We are excited to announce that Ben Legg, Corporate VP HSE, AECOM is joining the World HSE Week 2019 as a Speaker on Health & Safety for the Digital Age and Panel Moderator of Future of HSE 2020 & Beyond!

Ben has more than 28 years’ experience in the construction and support services industries. His rich storehouse of knowledge complimented by his ability to visualize unique solutions allows him to bring a common-sense approach to big ideas.

Throughout his career he has implemented impactful programs that engage stakeholders and deliver results regardless of sector. To date his experience spans a diverse range of operations including healthcare, education, commercial, infrastructure and industrial in the private and public sectors.

Ben has extensive international experience — Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Europe —  influencing businesses and corporate senior teams to achieve high standards of SHE&Q with multinational workforces and challenging local conditions.

He is currently Corporate Vice President, Safety, Health and Environment, at AECOM.  Previously, he was Vice President, Safety, Health and Environment, Middle East.

Prior to joining AECOM in July 2016, Ben was the International EHS Director at Mace Group. His employment history includes positions as Skanska UK PLC EHS Director and Carillion MENA IMS Director.

Committed to advancing SH&E within the industry, Ben has held a number of positions alongside his professional roles. He has served as a member of the UK CITB Health and Safety Committee, the UK Major Contractors Group. He also served on the UK Health and Safety Executives behavioral safety project, ‘Trojan Horse’. He currently is a Non-Executive Director with the BeSure Network.
